This scope was installed on a 1974 Rem 700ADL in .270. I used a set of Leupold rings I had. I was extremely impressed with the amount of light transmitted into this scope. At midnight with a half moon it was possible to see and identify various targets at quite a distance. At the range it performed without a single issue. Shot at 100,200 and 400 yds. Came right back to zero. My only Neg is that the one piece eye/power ring makes it difficult to install a flip up cover. Otherwise, a very capable scope.
