The Kershaw Chive is a Ken Onion design featuring a hollow-ground clip point blade of 420 Stainless-Steel. The index trigger serves as an easy opening aid and as a finger guard when the blade is needed. A push on the trigger activates the Speed Safe torsion bar technology to quickly spring the Kershaw blade open. The notched thumb ramp of the blade provides a secure placement for the index finger or thumb to rest on during use. The Kershaw Chive also features a safety lock system to prevent accidental opening and unwanted cuts. A detachable metal pocket clip makes for easy carry. The locking mechanism has an integral frame lock. The Kershaw Chive also comes in a metal gift tin.
